Google Voice New IP Telephony Service from Google

According to the site ArsTechnica, Google has so far collected over one million phone numbers, for now only in the U.S., in preparation for public launch of its new IP telephony service Google Voice. Currently the service is in the phase of the closed beta testing, and it is a technology that Google get it by purchase GrandCentral Company two years ago. Google Voice uses only one telephone number that can switch calls to their existing phones. It has built a voice mail that can be accessed via telephone or the internet, and can store audio messages, such as Gmail. The service offers the possibility of transcription of messages - convert speech to text, for now only in English. Microsoft Outlook Goes To Google Apps

Google has introduced a solution that would facilitate the transition of business users of Microsoft Outlook to its communication and collaboration tools based on the Internet. Gmail Release New Version For Mobile

Google has released a new version of Gmail for mobile Internet users for iPhone and mobile devices based on Android. New version should be much faster in some actions such as opening, navigating or searching messages. Also, in case of bad or non-existent connection to the Internet the user can open recently read and write new messages. Other features are: the possibility of marking multiple messages that can be archived, deleted, or be marked as read, unread, or spam; the possibility of tagging more messages, floating toolbar, the search field is moved from the bottom to the top of the page. Google Has Acquired DetectorPRO

According to our management team, Google is seriously preparing for the DetectorPRO acquisition and the Google experts already analyze all the documentation in our company. Google allegedly try to clearly understand the complex cross-license agreements that DetectorPRO has with third parties, and also they are digging deeply" in DetectorPRO accountings for the third fiscal quarter. New Google Search Features

Google announced 2 new improvements to Google Search: An expanded list of related searches and the addition of longer search result descriptions. For expanded list of related searches Google explains: ...one of its first applications lets us offer you even more useful related searches (the terms found at the bottom, and sometimes at the top, of the search results page). For example, if you search for [principles of physics], our algorithms understand that "angular momentum," "special relativity," "big bang" and "quantum mechanic" are related terms that could help you find what you need. They also said that this functionality is able to target more queries, more languages, and make suggestions more relevant to what users are looking for. The functionality is available in 37 languages all around the world. Improvement in the longer search result descriptions is that the longer search feature will not delivering more relevant results than before, but it could go a long way toward helping users determine if results in fact are relevant by giving them more info to reach a conclusion.

Google Chrome 2.0 beta

Google released a new beta version of Chrome. The new Google browser is a lot faster than the previous version. Google announce Chrome 2.0 on beta stage becouse the company wants to get some early feedback so they can improve the final version according to users feedback. Also there is new improvements on Google Chromium Linux version of Google Chrome. The new Chrome is rendering 25% on V8 benchmark and 35% faster on the Sunspider benchmark with most of the speed gained by streamlined Javascript engine.
