Independent link scanner from AVG

AVG start to offer independent free version of software for the security scan of web pages in real time. LinkScanner, which has been part of free security package of AVG Free Edition scans the Website before you visit it and warns if it finds some potentially dangerous elements. The software also allows you to select all search results in Google, Yahoo and MSN-in. Secure sites in search results have a link near the green check, and red "X" for unsafe sites. LinkScanner scans saved bookmarks as well, links on e-mails and links in messaging applications. Each page is scanned independently. AVG LinkScanner is freely available on AVG site.
