The new iMac, Mac PRO and Mac mini

Apple just announced new 20-inch and three 24-inch glossy widescreen iMacs, based on Intel's Core 2 Duo processors. The 20-inch Mac features a flat-panel LCD screen with 1680x1050 resolution and 24-inch models comes with 1920x1200 resolution, giving you vivid colors and breathtaking high-definition clarity. At the base level Apple offers a 20-inch model with 2.66Ghz Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of 1066MHz DDR3 RAM, a 320GB HDD and GeForce 9400M graphics (upgradeable to 8GB DD3 RAM and 1TB HDD), the rest of the iMacs are 24-inch starting with 4GB 1066MHz DDR3 RAM (upgradeable to 8GB) and 640GB HDD standard for 2.66GHz and 2.93 models and 1TB HDD for 3.06GHz. High end models with 2.93GHz and 3.06GHz processor comes with GeForce GT 120 256MB, GeForce GT 130 512MB graphics or ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB graphic processors for the fastest graphics performance. Prices start at $1,199 for the 20-inch and $1,499 for the 24-inch. The hight end 2.93GHz and 3.06GHz models are $1,799 and $2,199 respectively. Apple also announced new Mac PRO based on a new Quad-Core Intel Xeon Nehalem processor with a starting price of $2,499. The new systems feature dual 2.8GHz, 3.0GHz, or 3.2GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon 5500 series processors, starting with 3GB 1066MHz DD3 RAM, 640GB hard drive (up to 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD), and the NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 with 512MB of RAM with Mini DisplayPort and dual-link DVI video output ( upgradeable to ATI Radeon HD 4870 with 512MB GDDR5 or up to 4 NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 graphic cards) The fastest MacPRO model comes with Two 2.93 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon 3500 processors, up to 32GB 1066MHz DDR3 RAM, up to 1TB HDD and up to four NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 graphic cards on a system. All excitement goes on much rumored and awaited Mac mini update. The new mini box run on 2.0GHz or 2.26 GHz Core 2 Duo processors with the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics that is used in MacBook series and have dual video outputs: Mini DisplayPort and Mini-DVI port allowing to attach dual monitors or monitor-TV combination. For $599 you get 2.0GHz processor, 1GB 1066MHz DDR3 RAM and a 120GB hard drive(up to 320GB), and $799 model with 2GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive. Both minis are upgradeable to 2.26MHz processor and 4GB RAM, have 8x SuperDrives, five USB 2.0 ports and one FireWire 800 port, so you can connect your keyboard, mouse, iPod, iPhone, digital camera, DV camcorder, external hard drive, printer, and any other peripheral.
